Or, adopting a new concept and a new way to look at ourselves, use our gifts and experience to build a better world through an “encore” career. This course will review some of the sociological and vocational trends that are changing options for the boomer generation, and will provide you with an extensive list and discussion of options and opportunities to pursue work (both paid and upaid) that will allow you to use your abilities to do the kind of work you’ve dreamed about for years, and truly make a difference in your community and your country. Amy Pollard, herself a baby-boomer, has over twenty-five years experience in Human Resources as a recruiter, and has an MS in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling. She looks forward to using the tools she presents in the class as her own retirement gets closer!
